Rue Custine is a typical Parisian street and this part of the street was given its name in 1869. When you walk into the building, you will be greeted with a rare, tiled entrance which is a reminder of the Art Deco era. The flat maximises natural light and air while minimizing noise with the help of double glazed windows.

When you enter your Paris vacation apartment, you arrive at a long hallway that all of the rooms are off of. This allows the convenience of not going through anyone's sleeping area to allow for privacy. Much of the artwork adorning the hallway and other rooms of the apartment have been painted by the owner.

Living Area and Kitchen

At the end of the hallway and on your right is the main living area. This room is a wonderful, open space with the sofa area to your left, the kitchen to your right and the dining table in the middle. There are two windows which offer a peak of Sacre Coeur and allow a large amount of sunlight to fill the room on a bright day. The entire Paris holiday flat has a warm feeling with its wooden sculptures and other types of artwork. The kitchen area has a great amount of counterspace and cupboards which is rare in Paris. There is a fresh market close by on rue Duhesme/rue du Poteau.

Double Bedroom

Going out of this room and back into the hallway, you will see the entrance to the master bedroom directly across from you. The charm of African art comes into this room as well with a collection of wooden statues in one of the corners. There is a closet in the bedroom with plenty of space for you to hang your clothes and store folded items. Two bedside tables with lamps offer comfort for reading before you go to sleep after a day of exploring the city.

Bathroom

When you exit the master bedroom, the first room on your right is the bathroom. It is very spacious with both a bathtub and shower. There are two windows allowing the sunlight to brighten the room. On chillier mornings, there is an electric towel warmer you may wish to use for heating. This is also where you the combination washer/dryer machine is located.

Going out of the bathroom and continuing to your right is a smaller room which contains the toilet.

Twin Bedroom

Beyond the WC you will reach the second bedroom. This is the room that is closest to the entrance door of the apartment. There is a trundle bed which can be left as one single bed, pulled out to have two single beds or put together to make a larger bed for a second couple. For the convenience of people in this bedroom, there is a small sink and cupboard where you may store your toiletries.
