My apartment is in a lovely complex with well cared for gardens and common areas surrounded on one side by mountains. The apartment is situated on the hill of Petrosa and is very homely and has all the comforts you will require for your stay. The large terrace takes the sun until 2/3pm and is perfect for chilling out and listening to the birds or at night time to watch the stars. The area ia very quiet and the apartment is in a complex of 8 apartments, the apartment is on the 2nd floor.

There is a swimming pool with water slides 5 minutes walk and also a supermarket. The beach is 10 minute walk down the hill but it takes a little longer going up the hill. The beautiful historical old town of Scalea is within walking distance. Amazing seafood and fantastic affordable restaurants all within Scalea and surrounding towns. Close by is the 2nd largest National park in Italy with river rafting and hiking. Kilometres of beaches with snorklling and diving, clear blue seas.

Surrounding areas include Diamante with beautiful wall murales, Maratea a unesco listed town and many other typical Southern Italian hill top towns. Lamezia airport is close by and all trains stop at Scalea from major towns. There is a local transport to all surrounding areas. Climate is mediterranean. I also run an Italian cooking school using local products, this is a hands cooking experience where you will learn to make pasta, prepare sauces and make a full Italian meal and enjoy at the end with wine. A little piece of hidden Italy so don't tell anybody.....
