Our Traditional French Farmhouse Holiday Gite

Nestling in the heart of the rolling Brittany countryside and surrounded by tranquil forests, Les Vallées Gite is a 100+ year old traditional Breton longere (long-house) stone and slate farmhouse that has been tastefully renovated into a comfortable and relaxing holiday home that will be exclusively yours for your stay with us.

Our Breton farmhouse Gite has retained many of the original features such as massive oak beams, a wood burning fire and traditional tiled floors; whilst we've worked hard to make it a family 'home from home' with Sky TV, DVD, video and board-games in the lounge, central heating and a fully fitted kitchen with everything you'd expect to find at home (even including sandwich boxes for picnic's and kid's plates and cutlery for the little ones)!

Outside there's a large south/west facing sun patio and BBQ, half an acre of enclosed gardenwith fruit trees, adult bikes, children's toys, climbing frame and a 15 feet outdoor splash pool.

 

A Farmhouse Holiday Home

Our French Gite was once a traditional Breton longere (long-house) stone farmhouse that we've tastefully renovated into a comfortable vacation rental that's available throughout all the year.

Take some time off to relax in the Gite; perfect either for a family country cottage holiday, as a tranquil "get away from it all" break, or as a unique romantic honeymoon destination!

We've retained many of the original features of this charming building such as massive oak beams across the ceilings, carved fireplaces, thick stone walls and traditional tiled floors; whilst adding the modern comforts you'd expect for your holiday such as a dishwasher, power shower, central heating and double glazing.

Plenty of space and comfort to relax and unwind

Downstairs the main L-shaped building consists of a large Lounge with working fireplace, a modern fully-fitted Kitchen and a toilet/shower room. Moving upstairs we can sleep 6 in the two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom and there's a separate toilet and a bathroom.

Outside, the holiday cottage is situated in a roughly half acre enclosed garden surrounded by fields and woods. A large sun patio with outside table, chairs, sun loungers and BBQ runs along the length of one side of the house for al-fresco dining overlooking the swimming pool and children's climbing frame; a large open barn contains a range of children's and adults bikes and outdoor toys, and we've plenty of parking on the two floodlit gravelled courtyards.

Peak (red) season	late July and August	£600 p/w or €750 p/w
Mid (yellow) season	Easter, April, May, June, early July, September, October,  Christmas and New Year	£400 p/w or €500 p/w
Low (white) season	All other dates	£250 p/w or €300 p/w

The Gite can sleep up to 6 (plus a baby) and your rental price is fully inclusive of all utilities (water, electricity and heating), a 'welcome pack' (tea, coffee, milk, etc) on arrival and all bedding, bed linen and tea towels is provided as standard.
