The Cottage

A charming, traditional cottage, decorated with a wink to the past, nicely renovated, with the pastel colours blending with the stone from the country. It is located a few hundred meters from the sea, yet peaceful, and surrounded by small market villages.



Previously an old inn from the 18th century, built in a street of fishermen and rope-makers, the cottage was renovated with respect to the environment and of the past generations. The walls mostly restored to their original condition, so they can breathe, offer to the glance how they looked hundreds of years ago. Once crossing the threshold, one appreciates the warm and friendly atmosphere. The large garden to the rear opens towards the sea and the sky of the English Channel.



This cottage is a heaven of peace and of relaxation.

Special features

Barbey D’Aurevilly, a famous local author (19th Century) was told to have spent a night in the bedroom on the ground floor and to have loved it!

Location and surroundings

Beautiful walks are guaranteed along the immense sandy beaches, with dunes and wild landscapes. Many points of interest are close by, like La Hague, the Mont Saint Michel and the Normandy Landing beaches all within an hour drive. The Channel Islands can be viewed from many points along the coast.
