The Holiday cottage

Renovated from an agricultural building in the quiet village of Baudreville near the beautiful sandy west coastline of manche, La Mezzanine is a spacious holiday home for up to 6 people, ideal for exploring the wonderful local coastline and countryside. There is a spacious kitchen dining room, then 3 ground floor bedrooms with a mezzanine living area above. There is a large private garden and BBQ area to the rear and an enclosed courtyard at the front of the property. Guests with dogs welcome, the local beaches are dog friendly and the cycle paths are nearby.

Special features

We have a pool table and a bar on the mezzanine level of our gite. The bedroom windows have electric roller shutters.

Location and surroundings

Baudreville is a small village (population 89) with a church, a calvados still and that is about it! There is very little traffic, and the village is close to the commune of Denneville which has a good baker, a butcher and a grocery store. The lovely beaches are about 5 minutes drive away, and are uncrowded even in summer. There are a good selection of supermarkets, restaurants and shops in Portbail (8km) and La Haye du Puits (7km). There are many sights to visit and places to explore if you get tired of lying on the beach and swimming in the sea.....:)
