Renovated for the 2013 season, La Brosse is a traditional Norman stone house on the outside with a modern architect designed finish on the inside. A large open plan dining area with double sided wood burning stove opens onto a south-facing private terrace/BBQ area with uninterrupted views over the surrounding countryside and a lake with wildlife.



The modern fitted kitchen is extremely well-equipped with ceramic hob, dishwasher, oven and microwave, and has a breakfast bar. Next to the kitchen is a living area with digital TV, DVD, and Bluetooth speaker. There are a selection of children's games and a library with information on local attractions.



Upstairs there are three bedrooms all with king sized beds (160cm x 190cm) and a room with 2 bunk beds. There is a large shower room with bath, as well as a separate toilet. 



There is Wi-if throughout the property.

Special features

We have a lake (not deep) with wildlife. All windows have roller shutters of a peaceful nights sleep, and the house is well insulated for all year round comfort.

Location and surroundings

La Haye du Puits is excellently placed to visit the beautiful sandy beaches (over 200km of coastline) which remain ipuncrowded even in summer. The incredible Mont St Michel is 80 minutes drive and visits to the Channel Islands, Bayeux and Caen are all within easy driving distance. There are local street markets daily nearby (POrtbail Tuesday, La Haye du Puits Wednesday, Barneville Saturday)
