The Farmhouse

La Bourgeoiserie is a converted 17th Century Farmhouse set in 2 acres of land off a very quiet road in the peaceful Normandy countryside. The house has 5 bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 people in total and has a large conservatory with comfortable furniture to the rear. At ground level there is a large kitchen dining area with oven, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher. There is a twin bedroom at the ground floor level, and a laundry room with Washing machine and dryer.



On the first floor are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and one twin bedroom). There is a shower room and WC. On the second floor are 2 further bedrooms which share a second shower room. To the rear is a garden area with furniture and BBQ, there are views of fields.

Location and surroundings

Besneville is situated between the towns of Portbail, St. Sauveur le Vicomte and Bricquebec. The sandy beaches are a 12 minute drive from the property, and the village of Besneville (2 minutes) has it's own baker and grocery shop. There are lots of paths to walk on the Mont de Besnville and the nearby Foret de St. Sauveur le Vicomte, both of which are designated nature parks. Most of the local beaches are dog-friendly. There are street markets daily within easy driving distance and good restaurants in Portbail, Barneville-Carteret and La Haye du Puits.

Arrival

Follow N13 to D974. Take the exit toward Blosville/Hiesville/Houesville/Chef-du-Pont/Pont-l'Abbé/Picauville from N13



Take D70 and D15 to D127 in Besneville.



Drive through the village on the Bricqubec road (D127). Cross the D130 and Route du Hameau Avice is about 1km on the right. The house is the first house on the right after the barns.
